Role of M’Wikwedong Indigenous Friendship Centre
The Indigenous Healing and Wellness Program at M’Wikwedong ensures the healing and wellness needs of the urban Indigenous community are addressed at the local level in order to reduce family violence, promote healthy lifestyles, culture based programming, and healing. Referrals to other programs and services within M’Wikwedong IFC will be facilitated by those who make inquiry. As well M’IFC has an Aboriginal Court Worker on staff who is able to aid Urban Indigenous Peoples locally.
