Grey Bruce Seniors Safety Network

In 2015 concerned citizens and service providers came together looking for a way to address the abuse of seniors in Grey Bruce. Violence Prevention Grey Bruce established the Seniors Safety Network in 2017. Members come from health, social services, justice, senior’s services, community groups and community champions.

Advocacy Centre for the Elderly

The Advocacy Centre for the Elderly is a community based legal clinic for low income senior citizens. ACE is managed by a volunteer board of directors at least half of whom are seniors. ACE is funded through Legal Aid Ontario and is the first legal clinic in Canada to specialize in the legal problems of seniors.

Community Care Access Centre, CCAC

Works with local hospitals and nursing homes in Bruce & Grey Counties with respect to woman & elder abuse. Call for assistance with elders with respect to nursing, counselling, physiotherapy, suspicious falls.
