Sexual Assault and Partner Abuse Care Centre & Contact Grey Bruce Health Services
A team of Nurses and Social Workers with special training to provide care for women, men and children who are victims of sexual assault, historic child sexual abuse or domestic violence.
We can help with: emotional support, assessment and documentation of injury, treatment to prevent sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy, collection of evidence (with or without police involvement), safety planning, information and referrals to community resources, follow-up care and counseling.
How to access our care:
If you require immediate medical care or if the assault happened within the past 7 days, go to your nearest hospital emergency department
If the assault happened more than 7 days ago and you do not require immediate medical care, please call our office to arrange an appointment

Prenatal services that work to improve difficult situations for Aboriginal families by offering community based, holistic, culturally relevant services focuses family, children, nutrition education and empowerment. Health and social services that work to improve family functioning for Aboriginal families for parents and children 0- 6 years of age. Ontario Early Years -community based parenting and child development programming and educational resources incorporating an Aboriginal perspective young families and children ages 0 – 6 years. Akwe: Go For urban Aboriginal children offers support, tools and healthy activities to build upon and foster their inherent ability to make healthy life choices, with the main focus on children who are at risk between the ages of 7 – 12.
