Aboriginal Healing and Wellness Strategy Aimed at reducing family violence through programs and services that deliver culturally appropriate, community based education/awareness, peer counselling, referrals, crisis intervention and improved access to health and violence prevention services in Grey/Bruce. Prenatal services that work to improve difficult situations for Aboriginal families by offering community based, holistic, culturally relevant services focuses family, children, nutrition education and empowerment. Health and social services that work to improve family functioning for Aboriginal families for parents and children 0- 6 years of age. Ontario Early Years -community based parenting and child development programming and educational resources incorporating an Aboriginal perspective young families and children ages 0 – 6 years. Akwe: Go For urban Aboriginal children offers support, tools and healthy activities to build upon and foster their inherent ability to make healthy life choices, with the main focus on children who are at risk between the ages of 7 – 12.

The Men’s Program offers a variety of programming including:
Partner Assault Response (PAR) groups for men
Partner Assault Response (PAR) groups for women
My Dad’s Group (a positive parenting program for men)
My Mom’s Group (a positive parenting program for women)
The Male Survivor Program ( one to one counselling for men who experienced sexual violence as children or adolescents)

Community Living
Provides personal support and community referral services to adults with physical disabilities. Will support and provide resources with / for adults with physical disabilities who are victims of sexual assault and/or domestic violence.
